Beyond the conversation
Filming this conversation in Frankfurt also prompted reflections on identity and belonging from Bomafabia's perspective of growing up in the diaspora.
While Nosa speaks about his Nigerian roots and the importance of knowing where you come from, the conversation raises wider questions about identity and storytelling — and about how we maintain connections to our cultural roots when the reference points that ground us are not always immediately accessible.
These are questions that run through the wider work of The Reflective Shift, exploring how our experiences shape our identities, perspectives and the stories we tell.
